A Unique Expression of God

How it all began – Two paths converge and lead to India

I had been a student of the laws of the universe for several years when I first learned this stunningly profound truth while reading "Conversations with God"… YOU CAN NOT HAVE ANYTHING YOU WANT BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS EXPERIENCE WHAT YOU HAVE.

While it sounds strange at first, it actually makes perfect sense.  The act of wanting a thing or event actually pushes it away! The question then becomes (and this is extremely esoteric) How can I compress or speed up the time between when I have something consciously and when I have it physically?

Meanwhile, my friend Joe was training to become a teacher for Sri Guruji who was gaining popularity as a teacher of the ancient Tamil mantras for prosperity.  By this time I had begun to establish myself in the field of telephone based training, so when Guruji asked his students for ideas on how to spread his teachings, my name came up.

I spoke with Guruji and Joe on the phone one afternoon regarding ideas for virtual training in mantras and meditation – cool stuff.

Anyway, several months later I received a call from Guruji's head teacher inviting me to join the group on a trip to India to celebrate the Guru's 50th birthday – IT WAS THE SAME DAY GURUJI APPEARED IN MY MEDITATION!!!!!  I was sure it was no coincidence

Besides, how often does a Guru invite you to his birthday party?  I said yes.

Just to add evidence to the perfection of the universe, I was scheduled to be in London on business at the time of the trip - so it was perfect, I was already almost half way there!

Me - sporting new India garb, with Joe, on the second day of the trip on the night of Guruji's birthday.

Sri Guruji Pillai

This is a typical site in India. Every village has a common pool like this. This picture is a little ahead in the story, but I wanted to share a piece of India with you.
