Who left the Hall out?
Well, one of the dangers of setting a lofty goal is the feeling of failure and loss when you don't make it. We had a goal
to make the NCAA tournament this season (for the first time in 10 years) and we ALMOST made it.
After losing in the Big-East final (which would have secured an automatic invitation) we were waiting and hoping that the committee would extend an "at-large" bid to our team. With a record of 13-7, a national
ranking of #15 and a recent victory over #3 UConn, we thought we would get it.
But it was not to be. Still, I would never pass up the opportunity to put it all on the line - to risk failure for the opportunity for greatness.
I'm so proud of the young men on this team - the way they came together in the face of adversity and the way they "left it all out on the field".
